With over fifteen years of experience in serving wealthy families and businesses, Derrick Ransom leads a team of highly credentialed professionals. His team is focused on delivering comprehensive solutions to clients. The Columbus Private Bank Team helps clients manage, grow and transition their wealth to future generations while utilizing expertise in investment management, banking, trust and estate administration, financial planning and insurance.

Derrick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and International Business from the University of Cincinnati. In 1998, Derrick was drafted into the National Football League where he spent eight seasons competing for the Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Passionate about contributing to the community, Derrick is a leader in a number of critical organizations. He currently serves as board trustee for the YMCA. Derrick served as Board Chair and Trustee for a number of organizations during his time in Northeast Ohio. He is also a graduate of Leadership Akron’s 26th Class.
